Little pockets of joy, a blur of colors; it feels like just yesterday.
Just yesterday when you were getting ready for your first date, pretending not to be all nervous and giddy. Just yesterday, you were counting weeks instead of years. Now there’s a mini you who’s somehow already demanding to walk instead of being carried.
And somewhere between all that, life keeps ticking along. From bougie food snaps to cute play dates, you’ve got a bazillion photos of everything and everyone happening around you. But what about ones of you, in the midst of it all? You, being loved on?
One day, this will be the good old days.

Let's slow down and capture your love in a way that feels most true to you.
Wherever and however that unfolds, I’ll meet you where you are.
“We LOVE Lori! We worked with Lori for our intimate wedding ceremony. We knew we found our match after our initial phone consultation.
Lori is extremely professional, detail-oriented, and super creative. We are so grateful for the time she took to make sure we were happy with the timeline; she always communicated her ideas and suggestions, and on top of all that, she took time out of her busy schedule to scout locations for us!
I've never been a fan of being photographed, but Lori made the whole experience so much fun. She has such a bright and charismatic personality that made me feel really comfortable. Her candid/journalistic style and edits were exactly what we were looking for, and we couldn't be happier with the results. She is a great person to work with, and her photographs are absolutely breathtaking.
We highly recommend Lori to anyone looking for a photographer. Thank you again, Lori, for capturing our day so beautifully.”

Maybe you're planning a dreamy elopement at Crescent Bay, just the two of you and a sprinkling of your closest. Or maybe you’re counting down the days till you welcome baby earthside, wondering how your heart can possibly get any fuller. Or maybe you just want some sun-soaked family photos of you exploring Balboa Park with your kiddos, sticky popsicle fingers dragging you towards the ducks.
Whatever your version of "us" looks like, take this time to simply be present with each other, nothing more.
And until we meet again, let’s freeze this exact moment and make it last a while longer.

Don’t try to guess my age, LOL, but I grew up in the analog era, and I still vividly remember running around with my grandparents’ film camera, taking pictures of random things and, of course, A LOT of my cutie Siberian Husky pup, Tok, back then. So yes, cue the cliché: I’ve always been that girl with a dang camera as a third limb (even though I grew up wanting to be a biologist because I LOVE my animals, the furrier the better).
ANYWAY, I know we haven’t met yet, but *fingers crossed* soon, so maybe you’re wondering what it’s like inviting some very excited random from the internet to chase you around with a camera. While I can't do a cartwheel to save my life, I promise I'll do just about anything else to make you feel super cozy and seen.
All about creating space for you to be you; it's less about capturing how everything looks, and more about how you're feeling in the moment. 5, 10, 15 years from now, you might not remember the exact outfit you were wearing, but you'll remember how you felt.
Like hot honey on pepperoni, I already know we're going to get along just fine.
xo Lori
